PANNY HIRE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME

The first Panny Hire Internship Programme is now being launched! Based at our Los Angeles city office.

We are looking for Interns, students; undergraduate and postgraduate who are looking to take the first step on the industry ladder.

We are offering a ‘3 Month’ Internship, during which the successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle and learn some of the best kit in the business; RED Monstro, ARRI Alexa Mini LF, Phantom VEO 4K, BOLT High Speed Cinebot, Atlas Anamorphic, ARRI Signature Prime lenses and much more.. Other roles will include the opportunity to assist on shoots; music videos, commercials and corporates.. Also the possibility to sit-in on some of the Panny Hire training courses; RED training.

The candidate will want to live and breathe cameras and lenses, be passionate about kit in general because predominantly Panny Hire is a camera and lens rental company (we also rental lighting, stabilisers, Steadicam, grip, DIT/Editing stations and lots more) so our day-to-day is kit hire, updating firmware, black balances, clearing cards, charging batteries, testing lenses, cleaning kit, checking in and checking out rental kit, before and after rental, etc. Lots of that.. 

There may also be the (optional) opportunity of paid freelance work during the ‘3 Month’ Internship period, dependent upon experience and competence level. 

The Internship may lead to full time employment for the right candidate.. This will be judged on how successful it was for both parties and if we have a role within Panny Hire that is a perfect fit! The candidate could eventually be the Kit rental Manager or a Key Account Manager.

The Panny Hire Internship Programme will provide a plethora of knowledge and meaningful experiences; cameras, lenses, kit and the industry in general. The candidate will get hands-on experience, mostly in our kit room but also on live sets and he/she will contribute to the team, the projects and likely gain IMDB credits and industry contacts! We value cool insights and great ideas, it is a two-way street.
