This lens is a rare and special ultra-wide angle 14mm Ultra Prime. The 14mm costs double the price of a regular Ultra Prime and most rental providers don’t have the 14mm in their sets. We have both the 14mm and 16mm wide angle lenses available, however the 14mm is not part of our regular 3 x or 6 x lens Ultra Prime kits, it is only available individually.

The difference in FOV between a 14mm and a 16mm is vast at 15%, it really does seem much wider without any noticeable distortion. The legendary Ultra Primes have been developed over years of collaboration between Arri and Carl Zeiss in Germany. A large team of mathematicians and physicists have translated the latest scientific research; the objective was to create lenses that for the first time completely unify all of the optimal characteristics of the ultimate lens – the Ultra Prime.
